The Oporto British School

Approaching its 131th anniversary, Oporto British School is the longest-established British school in mainland Europe, reflecting the ancient formal alliance between Portugal and Great Britain, which this year celebrates its 650th anniversary. Underlying our objectives as a 13-18 international school is the belief that our students should be able to forge equivalent alliances, connections, friendships with fellow students from all around the globe; that they should be able to enjoy the exchange of opinion, experience other perspectives and above all, engage in the sort of healthy debate that the Model United Nations format encourages.
